The Development Trend of Mechanical Cement Material Technology

At present, the development direction of the world's organosilicon material technology is high performance, multi-function and composite. It is an important direction for the development of silicone technology to realize the compounding of organic polymers and silicone materials by cooperating with technological progress and adding new additives, as well as changing crosslinking methods, copolymerization, blending and other modification technologies. Scientists and technicians design various silicone products with different molecular structures according to their needs through the following ways to meet the needs of different occasions, especially the development of high technology.

In recent years, although there are more and more organic silicon products, in summary, there are three main aspects of new technologies used in the application and development of new organic silicon materials.

Chemical Modification of Polymers
Introduce long-chain alkyl groups and organic functional groups such as amino groups, hydroxy groups, mercapto groups, benzyl groups, epoxy groups, polyacyl groups, etc. into the main chain of the silicone compound, and the modified silicone oil formed is endowed with organic or special interface activity. For example, amino group-introduced siloxane can be used for hair styling, and polyimide-introduced organic coatings can be used as large-scale integrated circuit node coatings and purification membranes. In recent years, silylation technology has become active in organic synthesis. It enables organic synthesis that was otherwise difficult to achieve, thus leading to interest in the synthesis of organosilicon compounds containing different linkages. Recently, products called blended polymers have appeared. The modified rubber of silicone and ethylene-propylene rubber is an example. It has attracted people's attention as a material to make up for the deficiencies of the two. It is particularly worth pointing out that the combination of polysiloxane and organic polymers by chemical bonds or other stable methods. Some characteristics of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) can be introduced into organic polymers to obtain new polymers, which are used for polymer modification and can also promote the development of the silicone industry. Because the chain of PDMS is very soft, the functional groups on it are relatively active, and it is easy to react with various polymers. Therefore, in recent years. The research on the combination of polysiloxane and organic polymer is booming, and there are many literatures, which can be regarded as a main trend of development.

1.Reinforced rubber Introducing a small part (<20%) of thermoplastic polymers into silicone rubber to replace inorganic fillers such as silica can be made into thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which can be processed and formed by plastic method, and the strength can also be improved a lot .

2.Reinforced plastics Introduce a small amount of PDMS to improve the toughness of engineering plastics (such as nylon, polycarbonate, etc.), improve the impact strength, and also improve the precision of machining.

3.Improve surface properties Introduce PDMS into some polymers (such as epoxy resin, natural rubber, polyimide, etc.), even if the halo is only 1% to 3%, the surface properties can be improved, from Hydrophilic becomes hydrophobic, easy to release during processing, can also improve lubricating performance, reduce friction coefficient, and not easy to oxidize and damage during friction.

4.Preparation of separation membrane The air permeability of PDMS is one or two orders higher than other polymers, but its strength is poor, and it cannot be used as a membrane alone. Combining with other polymers solves the support problem, and its selectivity coefficient can also be improved.

5.Medical materials Organosilicon is widely used in medical materials.

6. Preparation of liquid crystal skeleton On the polyhydromethylsiloxane, various liquid crystal groups are connected through the hydrosilicon addition reaction to prepare high-molecular liquid crystals, so that the phase transition temperature is widened, and the crystal state is relatively stable. The chemical effects of some liquid crystals are also evident.

7.Reduce the processing temperature. Some polymers such as polyimide and polyarylate have high melting points and thermal decomposition during processing. The introduction of PDMS can reduce the processing temperature.
